What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file stored by a browser. Similar technologies can remember preferences, maintain security, measure audiences or enable third-party features.
Essential website cookies
The public site uses the HTTP-only “tesmar-locale” cookie for up to 12 months to remember the selected language. The “tesmar-optional-consent” cookie keeps the visitor’s accept or refuse choice for up to 6 months. The protected administration area uses a separate authentication cookie only for authorised administrators. These cookies are necessary for the requested preference or security function and cannot be disabled through the optional-services panel.
Optional third-party services
Cal.eu appointment booking loads when the visitor clicks the booking button; information entered in the booking interface is handled by Cal.eu. Embedded video is served through YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain, although YouTube may process data when a video is played.
Google Analytics
With the visitor’s consent, Google Analytics measures page views and website usage so Tesmar Stone can improve content and navigation. The Google tag is not loaded before consent. Advertising signals and advertising personalisation are disabled. Google Analytics may set cookies such as “_ga” and “_ga_<measurement-id>”, which can last up to two years; Analytics event and user data are configured for 14-month retention.
Managing cookies
The consent panel offers equally accessible choices to refuse or accept optional services. The choice can be changed at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. Refusing or withdrawing consent prevents Google Analytics from loading and removes available first-party Google Analytics cookies. Browser settings can also delete or block cookies, although blocking essential cookies may prevent preferences from being remembered.
