Legal

Privacy policy

This policy explains how Tesmar Stone handles personal information on this website under Moroccan Law No. 09-08. It was last updated on 1 September 2026.

01

Data controller

Tesmar Stone, operating from 79 Avenue Ibn Sina, Agdal 10100, Rabat, Morocco, determines why and how personal information collected through the website is processed. Privacy requests may be sent to info@tesmarstone.com or by post to that address.

02

Information collected

The project-enquiry form collects the visitor’s name, work email, delivery country, enquiry type and message. Company, application, preferred material, estimated quantity, timeline and a reference URL are optional. If chat or appointment booking is used, the visitor also supplies the information entered into those services. Hosting and security systems may process IP address, browser, device, date, time and request logs. This website does not collect payment-card information and does not accept online payment.

03

Purposes and legal basis

Information is used to answer enquiries, prepare quotations, coordinate samples or appointments, manage the resulting commercial relationship, prevent abuse and protect the website. Enquiry information is processed with the visitor’s consent and, where applicable, to take requested steps before a contract. Essential technical logs are processed to operate and secure the service. Tesmar Stone does not use the enquiry form for unrelated advertising and does not make decisions based solely on automated processing.

04

Recipients, services and transfers

Access is limited to authorised Tesmar Stone personnel and providers required to deliver the website and respond to enquiries. These services include Hostinger website hosting, business email, Cal.eu appointment booking and Google Analytics after consent. To show the correct Morocco or international catalogue, the server sends the visitor’s IP address to the Country IP-to-country service only when the hosting platform does not already supply a country code; Country states that it does not log requests. Providers may process information outside Morocco. Tesmar Stone will apply the safeguards and CNDP formalities required by Law No. 09-08 to applicable transfers.

05

Retention and security

Enquiry information that does not lead to a commercial relationship is retained for up to 24 months after the last exchange. Information connected with a quotation, order or dispute may be retained longer where needed to manage the relationship, establish or defend legal claims and meet legal obligations. Technical security logs are retained for up to 12 months unless an incident requires longer investigation. Google Analytics event and user data are configured for a 14-month retention period. Tesmar Stone applies access controls and reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, while no internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

06

Your rights

Under Moroccan Law No. 09-08, individuals may request access to their information, its updating, correction, erasure or blocking where the processing does not comply with the law, and may object to processing on legitimate grounds where applicable. A request should identify the applicant and the information concerned and be sent to info@tesmarstone.com. Tesmar Stone may request reasonable proof of identity before responding.

07

Complaints to the CNDP

If a privacy concern is not resolved, the individual may submit a complaint to Morocco’s National Commission for the Control of Personal Data Protection (CNDP). Information and the online complaint service are available at cndp.ma/deposer-une-plainte/.

08

Cookies and external features

The site uses essential language-preference and consent-choice cookies. The protected administration area uses a separate authentication cookie for authorised staff. Google Analytics is blocked until optional services are accepted. Cal.eu loads when the visitor chooses to book a call, and embedded YouTube content uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain. Details and controls are described in the Cookie policy.

09

Visitor responsibilities and policy updates

Visitors should not include sensitive personal information or confidential third-party data in a message or reference link unless it is necessary and they are authorised to share it. Tesmar Stone may update this policy when the website, providers or legal requirements change. The revision date at the top identifies the current version.
